Summary
The Olympus OM-D E-M1X is a beefed-up EM1 Mark II, repackaging its 20 Megapixel sensor, 4k movies and 18fps bursts into a larger and tougher body with an integrated portrait grip, twin batteries, field sensors, improved autofocus trailing, USB power and even amend built-in stabilisation. The Olympus OM-D E-M1X is a last-end mirrorless camera aimed at sports and wildlife professionals who requirement speed and robustness. Announced in January 2019, it comes two years afterwards the E-M1 Mark II and shares that model's 20 Megapixel Cardinal Thirds sensor, 4k video and fast burst shot, but is large and pitched at a high level with an integrated battery grip, tougher certification, improved autofocusing and plane better stabilisation than before.
The E-M1X is the largest, heaviest and toughest camera in the Small Four Thirds system to date, measuring 144x147x75mm and weighing 997g with its cardinal battery packs fitted. With its integrated battery / portrait grip, it reminds you of the Canon EOS 1Dx Mark II or Nikon D5, just while the sensor is smaller, information technology's attended past the broad-brimmed and progressive Olympus feature-set.
